Girl problem......?

ok, see theres this girl, i kinda hinted into asking her out once and she gave me the whole "i wanna be free, i just got through a break up and i dont want a relationship holding me down" speech... and then i find out the next day, she says yes to some guy who she said "the only reason i said yes to him is because he asked so many times so i guess ill give him a try.." to... so me, being flabbergasted by this, gets infuriated and makes her feel bad... and she threates to commit suicide over me... and i calm her down, and now im her BEST, and i mean BEST friend... but she's breaking up with that one guy and now is calling me her Best Friend, Buddie, Pal, and im like top on her friends on myspac and all that... and we kinda flirt.... so, u great ppl of the internet... whats my next move? i really wanna be with her, but shes throwing mixed signs at me.... HELP!!!
