You can't always see wild animals & they hunt at night so if your cats are out at night, there is a good chance that another animal is getting them. If the cat has a collar the shelter is required by law to contact the owner, same if the cat is micro chipped. I'm in a choir and it's the worst thing in the world when the person next to you is belting out the words and sticking out. So shut up when you're singing with other people. However, a solo is completely different. As long as you're still singing to your full potential and not harming your voice from singing loudly, a good soloist is loud enough to be heard over the choir. So belt. Hair Disaster; Please Help!

From the very beginning of May until August 5th, I was a lifeguard in Wildwood, NJ. I was a life guard at the ocean and at a local pool. Well, from constantly being out in the sun and from being in the dangerous waters, my hair color lightened drastically and I hated it. My hair went from a medium, dark shade of brown to a very dirty looking brown. So, last night, I had my friend dye it. Now that it was dyed, it looks black and I HATE IT even more! I tried to use Head and Shoulder Shampoo to get the dye out or to even make my hair look like its natural color, but it didn't work at all! Does anyone know any other home remedies that would work in my situation? And please, only serious answers and only things that you know work! Thank you! "Pet" dogs and "stray" dogs - why the "toughness" difference?

Well living outside the dogs learn from each other. At first most are sweet until they realize they don't get food or they don't get good shelter from just sitting around. They realize they have to fight and work for it. From fighting and from seeing many things that other dogs do they become stronger, more confident, and in charge. They will eventually know the streets and who the new guy is. By knowing this they feel confident and strong and by fighting they gain muscle. By wandering the streets everyday they gain muscle. My cousin has a 10 year old rabbit that has lived outside since he was little and is still very strong. Doctor said he was going to die at the age of two and he's turning 11 in two months. I had a fiasco today. My soy chai spilled all over me going through my sweater, my shirt and through a layer of skin on my side. I ran to the bathroom to wash it off and change shirts. But it's not until now that I realize that my quite expensive suede boots are damaged! They have splatters on them but totally dry. Is there a home remedy for this? But this hacker is 16 years old and he threatened to delete my friend's C:Drive. My friend can easily negate the deletions with System Recovery. Can I still join the ROTC with a MIP?

I got a minor-in-possession charge (for alcohol) over six years ago in Missouri. At the time, it was a city ordinance. I was not arrested, but got a ticket (similar to a noise violation ticket), and ended up going to a two-day SATOP cl and paid a small fine. Actually, in that particular city a noise violation carried a heavier penalty. I was NOT driving at the time, and have had no incidences since then. When I got my EMT license in Missouri, the MIP didn't even show up on my background check or driving record. Will this be a hindrance to getting into the ROTC program as a cadet? If so, is there anything I can do to get a waiver or something?

My car keeps turning off?

Why is it we are not able to tune in to our own localised News, What's On, Police Reports, Planning Applications, Births Marriages and Deaths etc, on a Television programme, where we get to know quickly everything that is happening in our town and local villages. (Not dreary old CEEFAX) We are reading Newspapers less and less, by the time they are printed, its old news anyway, but if we had our own TV Channel 24/7 which we could contact and see everything in one place, presented and spoken by local people, even using web cams from home or office to get over a point or criticism, this, I feel is the way forward. We have too many places to write stuff at the moment it needs organising, I think this would be the best option for the future.

How can I get my puppies to get along?

We have a pekingese puppy who is 6 and a half months old. After taking her to a friends house and observing how much fun she had playing with their 2 puppies, we thought a companion would be a great idea. We bought another pekingese puppy who is 4 months old. Both of these puppies, individually, have very sweet personalities, but the new one is a bit more timid and quiet. The older puppy is very excited to play and she is probably double in size to the new one. She's older and plays a little more aggressivly than the new puppy likes, but has never offered to growl or nip the puppy. I've never seen her get angry. On the other hand when the little one has had enough she hides under a table or a small place growls and nips at the other one who will not get out of her face, because she is still in play mode. I'm not sure what to do. It is more peaceful here when I just keep them separated, but of course that is not the solution. How can I get the older one to respect the little ones boundries when she has let her know she's had enough? Should I just let her antagonize the little one and let the little one nip and growl? if I stay out of it will they just work it out? I feel sorry for both of them. They are both females and the older one was just spayed.

I could tell you everything she's told me, but that'd take forever and make me more upset than I am right now. But to tell you a small list, she's called me immature, irresponsible, hateful, evil, a jerk, a horrible daughter and she's told me that she would sign my custody papers away (I'm not really sure what that means, but I know it means she would give me away) that she would kill herself if I didn't listen to her, that my brother is better than me, and even that she doesn't care about me. She gets mad at me over really stupid things. Like, twice, yes twice, she's gotten mad at me for something over Facebook, yes seriously. The first time it was like I embarred her or something, I honestly don't know, but she had me sobbing on the floor begging her to forgive me and saying I was sorry for something I didn't even know what I did. She said I was fake crying (something I can't do) and I wasn't sorry at all. She ended up taking my blanket on my bed and just saying I wasn't sorry. The second time, about a month or so ago, she got mad at me again for Facebook for something, which once again I don't know/ chose no to remember what it is, i stood up for myself this time. I told her that it was really immature, and it's just a website and means nothing. She ended up yelling at me and I stayed in my bedroom for the rest of the day/ night. She's shoved me, pushed me, and slapped me. But back to tonight, well I've had a bad day already, I was late for school, I didn't get much sleep last night, and I have this big singing competition coming up on thursday and friday. I've been staying up late studying and practicing for this competition, until about 3am sometimes. Well, to say the least I was exhausted when I got home. My mom was in a HORRIBLE mood. She was already yelling at my dad. My mom had to go to the doctor. My dad ran out of gas on the side of the road. He got gas and went to pick her up, and was late. I was at home watching my brother, I had sat down for a second and ended up ping out. Well, the next thing I know I was woken up to my mom yelling in my ear. Calling me irresponsible, untrustworthy, and a bad daughter. I said I was sorry for falling asleep, and she said I was being smart. My dad said it was his fault but she ignored him and kept yelling at me. She told me to get my a** out of bed and clean my room. Well, through sobbing I cleaned my room. I just want to know, was I wrong? Why does she hate me? Why does she yell at me? What did I do? Does she like seeing me sad? I've been crying since she yelled at me and I can't stop crying. There are places that will let you admit some one without payment. However you cannot force some one to go with out their consent, even if it means harm to them or some one else. What i suggest you do is to do an online search in your state, and or city, for clinics or specialized facilities that you can talk with first to get them involved in treating him. 99% of them will do an intervention with you and your family, and then take him for treatment. Some of them will not charge you, but you will have to find that out your self. Good luck and may God look after you and your family.

Sony VAIO PCV-RS320 2GB RAM problem?

I have been trying to upgrade my RAM from 1GB to 2GB (which is the maximum allowed for my PC). The recommended specs are no greater than four 512MB cards of PC2700. I tried PC3200, and it didn't work (though two of the PC3200 would work - 1GB). I finally bought PC2700 (had to order it - couldn't find it in a store anywhere). 2GB of it doesn't work either. 1GB in any config (including a 1GB card - I've tried that, too) works, but no config of any RAM from 1.5GB to 2GB works. I've tried updating the BIOS. Didn't work. It was saved, but it still wouldn't boot up with 2GB. Sony support gave me a link to a BIOS update, but when I tried to install it it said it couldn't read my system info. Does anyone have an answer that will help me?!?!? Thanks!

Yes, there are lists out there of the most commonly allergic foods. There are also lists of the foods least likely to cause an allergic reaction. Personally, I am allergic to more foods on the least common list! I suggest keeping a food diary: write down everything you eat and drink and also keep track of when you have a reaction. Some of my reactions are an 8-12 hour delay, so I know it can be hard to figure it out sometimes.

We started dating when I was in eighth grade and he was a junior in highschool. Im now a sopre in highschool and he has graduated but had to take a year off to care for his ill mother instead of going to college. We both are extremely mature for our age. He moved out of his house due to an abusive father at almost 17. He has been in his own place from then till when his mother fell ill last summer. He plans to go to a 2 year college next year and when he graduates that school, I'll be graduating highschool. Then I plan on attending a four year state school to get my bachelor degree. After my bachelors I will likely take a year off to work and then get my masters online or go back to a campus, depending on if I feel that my education should be furthered or not. We have decided we will get engaged, married' and have kids in the future but neither of us have decided on a 'perfect' time to do each of them. I'm just asking for your input, thanks! I think that in my head, I'd like to get engaged before I start college. Then It'd be wise to hold off getting married until about a year or so after I find a job post graduation. I would go to a repair shop and ask to try out some plugs for the holes just in case. I know when I switched from closed hole to open hole flute, I could swear I was fully covering the keys and it wasn't so. So my first suggestion is to get the plugs and play with it for about a week, if it keeps doing what it's doing, you may have pads out of line. One of your springs may not be working either, but that would be easier to tell because the key wouldn't come back up. I am currently roughly 6 months pregnant with a big healthy boy so far.. i have had this constant headache that will not go away... ive taken plenty of tylenol extra strength, even tylenol pm.. i even went to the ER and was given 2 Percocets. Nothing will take this away.. my blood pressure is up.. its around 140/80 each time i check it. Preeclampsia does run in my family ( every pregnant woman has had it) however my doctor said my urine was fine when checked for protein.. could i still have preeclampsia and just not be producing a detectable amount of protein in my urine?

The other day I was at the gym and I noticed this weird little dude in the shower staring at my junk, I kept watching him and he was staring for a while. Army ROTC SMP GRFD Question... Can anyone help?

I have been offered a 3 year scholarship at the University of North Alabama. I selected GRFD because I have about 2 years of Active Duty time and 4 years of Tennessee Guard time. From the way I understand it I will be contracting as a MSIII because I have 60 credit hours and 6 years total military service. So I know that I am a SMP GRFD cadet with a three year scholarship. I also know that I have the Post 911 GI Bill and I will be getting that. Can someone break this down for me as far as money goes? Here is how I see it, SMP= E5 drill pay, stipend, and tuition. GRFD= Tuition and 1,200 for books. GI Bill= 80% tuition, 80% BAH, and 1200 for books. Is this right? Can someone explain all this to me. I really just want to know how the money is done. Actual amounts is not needed, but am I right or wrong?

it depends on what kind you get the more expensive high quality stuff with work better. I do agree that you do have to use a damp cloth but it will come off. A chalkboard eraser doesn't work as well

Could it be his teeth?

This may be a little longer then intended, just a warning but i'll try and make it short! Ok so it was June 26th i test rode a gelding and he went fine, i did flat and jumping about 2'6" he rode perfect. We went back a week later but i didn't do much with him, he was sore from a recent hoof trimming. July 17th we brought him home so it was the 18th i rode him w/t in a halter with someone leading me (we were careful he was a new horse but none of my tack was there). Later the same day we found one of my old bridles and found his size bit at a store so i put that on him on a loose rein (basically on the buckle) he went fine, when i tried taking up contact he was acting a little silly he would occasionally chew on the buckle it was constant chewing and some flipping his head when i took up contact. still 3 other people (2 of them beginners who i had to lead) plus me rode him and he was ok. the the 19th we found his fear of storms i didn't get back on until the 22nd when i had my new bridle he was nervous in the front part of the property we took him around to where he couldn't see the barn and he settled down letting me and a friend ride w/t on a loose rein still kinda chewing at the bit a little but at the trot you could feel he wanted to run. long story short he did some funky stuff with the bit, took off galloped across a road towards the barn and stopped when i jumped off in front of the gate. we thought he was buddy sour already but when we turned him out he went to the opposite side of the field of the other horses (we did bring him back across the road to where he bolted but he wouldnt go ped a foot of the opposite side we swapped the bridle for a halter and walked him back where he was still wound up but ok (there was a storm rolling in he might have sensed like i said he has a fear of storms). we went back and got on the 24th i saddled him but couldn't get on him due to a girth problem (he refused to cross the street to the riding area with nothing on his back and just a halter and lead until my dad finally got him then he crossed willingly every time after and was fine). we came back the 25th with a new girth saddled him and i got on him but with a halter and lead rope my mom led me and he did well responding to my voice command "whoa" and sitting back from walk to halt, that afternoon we put the bridle and saddle on and i got on he was wanting to run and flipping his head alot and chomping at his bit he kept stretching his head down my mom thought he was going to roll, and when i got his head up he kept breaking a trot and you could sense he wanted to run. i haven't been back on since i have been on the ground. the vet is coming to float his teeth next week, do you think based on what i described that might fix him or do you think it is something else? wow ok that was long anyone who read it and can answer thanks a ton!

If you don't have your heart set on a zoom lens, I absolutely recommend a fixed lens (primes lens). 50mm? The aperture has a significantly wider setting then a zoom lens which allows more light at a lower setting. Also, they are fantastic for portraits.

Landlord returned 1/3 of security deposit based on inflated charges?

I rented a house for 6 months and when I left at the end of the lease, I thoroughly cleaned the home. Now six weeks later, after sending the landlord a letter regarding getting the security deposit back, I get a letter with overblown and erroneous charges. I had already filed a case in small claims court for the return of the deposit after it was taking so long to be returned. The deposit was $1600.00 and he only sent back $400.00 There was not $200.00 worth of damage, beyond normal wear and tear. I think the tenant who was supposed to move in after I left didn't and now he is trying to use my deposit as another month's rent that is covered. Should I go to court to dispute the over inflated charges?

i had a back strain from running in track and it was nothing at the beginning but then it got worse and worse until i could barely walk without feeling pain in my back. i went to a physical therapist and we did a lot. i used these thermopack heating pads that are these 8 hour lasting portable heating pads. i also used icy hot CREAM, not gel. the gel doesnt work at all. my physical therapist also gave me this thing called a tens unit, which worked the most for me. there are 4 electrodes that go on 4 different spots on your back and they send shocks that actually relax your muscles. it pretty much mages your back, and it feels great afterwards. i recommend that the most. but good luck!

ouch for me it is impossible for me to start talking for even an hour! mix water nd salt together and gargle. It will help alot. drink lots of fluids (water) to help. also you might have strep throat so check out for that. You can also ask the doctor for some medicine to make it cooler.
