Is a business major and communications minor a good collegiate path?

hello, i am currently undergoing my second year of college and pretty close to finishing my general ed program (IGETC). I will be transferring to a prestigeous university (USC/UCLA) soon and I wanted to declare myself as a business admin major. Im not that familiar with the idea of a "minor" other than that it can boost my credibility and it should compliment my major(diversify myself). So i have been thinking about minoring in communications, emphasizing in graphic design or tv/film production (i want to become a well known tv/film producer someday). I was wandering if my plan to major in business and minor in such a field would be a great path for me to take? i was also wandering just how lucrative these degrees would be for me? any info on this topic is greatly appreciated. thnx
