How to clean suede boots damanged by spilt scorching soy chai that has dried?

I had a fiasco today. My soy chai spilled all over me going through my sweater, my shirt and through a layer of skin on my side. I ran to the bathroom to wash it off and change shirts. But it's not until now that I realize that my quite expensive suede boots are damaged! They have splatters on them but totally dry. Is there a home remedy for this? Do I HAVE to take it to a drycleaners?
