2001 ford explorer xlt....?

i have recently purchased a set of tow hooks to mount on my 2001 ford explorer xlt 4x4 and i have hit a snag, i cant seem to find an area to mount the hook on the front, i don't really want to mount it to my grille guard, and im a little hesitant to cut a hole in my bumper, is there somewhere else i could mount this hook?
