Who really killed Apartheid and when?

There is no definitve time and date to when apartheid ended but there was a relaxation of the notorious Laws such as the Group Areas Act, the Mixed Marriages Act,Employment Laws etc from the early 80's onwards. These were primarily the result of pressure from the West and in response to sanctions. The final capitulation of course was the release of Mandela and the installation of Marxism in the 90's which from recently released CIA doents was done under threat of a planned collapse of the Economy and if necessary an armed invasion by the US. The only role of the ANC was to act out the Soviet lead propaganda and disinformation campaign they were running at the UN and in the West. Remember up until the late 80's both the US and the UK had declared the ANC as a Terrorist Organisation and offered them little or no support. It is quite a debate that if the S Africans had refused and stood their ground if the Communist would be running the Country (into the ground) today. The ANC was no military threat and the SADF would have and should have swatted then like mosquitoes. South Africa had to change away from the Verwoerd days and was in the process of doing so but the West bowed to Soviet pressure and now we see the result. My opinion is that like Israel the US/UK should have supported the then South African Government but under pressure to reform the Policies of Apartheid. Unfortunately most view the apartheid era as the actions of the Security Police and ignore the infrastructure that was built and the Economy which was still performing despite sanctions. Africans were never so well of but they seem to prefer starvation, disease and filth to civilisation.
