Nat dex help on poke pearl?

ok i beat elite 4 but i only seen 143 poke total. i already went to all the legendarys and the lady holdin pic of other legendary. is there an easier way to get the nat dex[without using a cheat system like AR or GS] than goin around everywhere lookin for trainers i didnt fight?
