What do you Americans think about BBC TopGear?

In my last q. I found out it is very popular over there. But I wonder since Hammond is the only one that loves American cars, are you offended by this? I use to live in Cali. and the American culture was that you can only say good things about them if I said something like "in EU we have beater food" they almost stoned me to death,.. Americans must be praised only or nothing, so I wonder how do you take some silly jokes that Jeremy is making about you :)
