Why can't I be happy?

I'm in the final year of high school, yay for that. I have a few close friends but rarely see them because they live far away. This is my third high school, and I have been talking to some people here, it's definetely better than the last school. I never hang out with anyone, and haven't since I lived in waldorf.. That might be the prolem actually.. And I have no when it comes to talking to girls, I always think I have no chance so a girlfriend is out of the picture. I'm just getting so bored of life and living in society.
